Gurpreet is design native product operator with over a decade of experience building digital consumer experiences at scale. As a former entrepreneur, he thrives on solving zero-to-one challenges, crafting products that continue to serve millions of people around the world every day. His work is inspired by the forward looking potential of Human-AI experiences.
Most recently, he headed the product at Sober Sidekick, the fastest growing mobile behavioral health platform in the US. He scaled the product team 4x and oversaw multimillion dollar initiatives in partnership with the world’s largest healthcare provider — helping the product become a top rated resource in digital recovery care.
Previously, he owned core experiences at Gojek, Southeast Asia’s leading superapp (IPO ’22), where he launched multiple zero-to-one products. This included universal search and instant grocery delivery, serving over 40 million monthly active users. He also drove the growth and monetization design strategy for GoFood, one of the world’s largest food delivery services.
As a former entrepreneur, Gurpreet founded and led ninyanve, an independent studio that helped early stage product companies go from idea to launch across Silicon Valley and India. He also played a key role in developing a B2B2C SaaS platform that powered major Indian banks, universities, and housing programs — enabling over $30 million in transactions for a landmark government project.
Gurpreet holds a Master’s degree from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), where his work focused on Human-AI collaboration. His speculative concept for an AI based streaming service earned the jury’s commendation.
